If you are reading this webpage, then most likely you have received a notification from your City or County requiring you to perform a Forty Yr Inspection of your property within a given amount of time. Here at G. Batista and Associates we have performed hundreds of these inspections and know that the first thing on your mind is the expense required to not only perform this inspection, but to perform any repairs that would be required.

Why do 40 Year Recertifications exist? Most people, whe they receive a notice from the city advising them that a 40 year recertificaiton is in order for their property, react with disdain due to the additional potential costs to be incurred. Although it is true that there is an additional cost, the fact remains that these 40 year recertificaions are at the heart of a state-mandated program to ensure public safety.
