The Municipal Special Projects Division of G. Batista & Associates is especially tailored to Cities that require engineering, design, and general contractor services to provide turn-key solutions for those smaller projects where it is impractical for city purchasing agents to produce RFQ's and RFP's required by municipal codes and/or the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (F.S. 287.055).
G. Batista & Associates is a fully-integrated design and construction firm fully owned by Greg Batista, PE, CGC (see LinkedIn link on the left) which means that solutions to those smaller projects are achieved much faster, inexpensively, and more efficiently than employing separate firms and subcontractors. Vice-President, Giovanni R. Batista, PE, CGC,(click here for condensed resume) has over 20 years of experience having worked in South Florida Cities in Community Planning, Capital Projects, the Building Department, and even as Director of Public Works. Giovanni brings his expertise to bear knowing first hand the inner-workings of municipalities, requirements, needs, and most importantly, what it takes to maintain a happy client and a mutually-beneficial relationship.
Our true value lies in our willingness to be involved in assisting you in providing solutions from the time we are initially contacted to assisting you in putting together your RFP. This service we provide mostly for free.
